Quads
Each year, the Berkeley Chess School runs three USCF-rated Quad Tournaments. A Quad is a group of four players of similar playing strength. Each participant plays one game against each other member of his/her Quad (a total of three games), and the top scorer in each group receives a trophy.
We hold two Quads in Berkeley each year, and one in Walnut Creek.
The next quad will be held in Berkeley in the summer.
