Annual Year-End Team Tournament
At the end of each school year, the Berkeley Chess School offers two regional open team tournaments in Berkeley and Walnut Creek. Hundreds of students from our many schools attend! Trophies are given to the top four players whose school team places first through tenth. There will also be trophies for those players who achieve a perfect score for the player whose game is deemed to be "the best game". All participants who play in all six rounds will receive a medal.
Berkeley Area
Open to all students who attend elementary schools west of the Berkeley/Oakland hills, from Hercules to Berkeley to Newark.

Walnut Creek Area
Open to all students who attend elementary schools near the 680 corridor, from Concord to Orinda to Livermore.
